Sinovac Schedules 2017 Annual Meeting of Shareholders

BEIJING, December. 29, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Sinovac Biotech Ltd. (NASDAQ: SVA), a leading provider of biopharmaceutical products in China, announced today that it will hold its 2017 Annual Meeting of Shareholders on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. Beijing Time. The meeting will be held at No. 39 Shangdi Xi Road, Haidian District, Beijing, PRC. All shareholders of record as of December 26, 2017 will be eligible to vote and are invited to attend.

 

The primary agenda of the meeting is to approve the re-election of Weidong Yin, Yuk Lam Lo, Simon Anderson, Kenneth Lee and Meng Mei as the Company’s directors with a term expiring at the next annual meeting of shareholders and until their successors are duly elected; approve the audited consolidated financial statements of the Company for the financial year ended December 31, 2016 together with the Report of Independent Registered Public Accounting Firm thereon and the notes thereto; approve the appointment of Ernst & Young Hua Ming LLP as our independent auditor for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2017 and to authorize the directors of the Company to fix such independent auditor’s remuneration.
